Psalms 14

To the choirmaster. Of David. The fool has said in his heart, 'There is no God.' They are corrupt; they have done abominable deeds; there is none who does good.

The LORD looks down from heaven upon the sons of men, to see if there is any who is wise, who seeks God.

They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one.

Do all the workers of iniquity not know — those who eat my people as they eat bread? They do not call upon the LORD.

There they trembled in great dread, for God is with the righteous generation.

You would put to shame the plans of the afflicted, but the LORD is his refuge.

O that salvation for Israel would come from Zion! When the LORD restores the fortunes of his people, let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad.
