Psalms 13
For the director of music. A psalm of David. How long, O LORD — will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
How long shall I take counsel in my soul, sorrow in my heart by day? How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?
Look at me and answer me, O LORD my God — light up my eyes, lest I sleep in death.
lest my enemy say, 'I have prevailed over him,' and my adversaries rejoice when I am shaken.
But I, in your steadfast love I have trusted; let my heart rejoice in your salvation.
I will sing to the LORD, for he has dealt bountifully with me.
