Leviticus 26

You shall not make for yourselves idols and a carved image and a stone pillar — you shall not set up for yourselves — and a figured stone you shall not place in the land of you all to bow down to it, for I am the LORD God of you all.

My Sabbaths you shall keep, and my sanctuary you shall revere — I am the Lord.

If you walk in my statutes and keep and do my commandments.

And I will give your rains in their season, and the land shall give its produce, and the trees of the field shall give their fruit.

And the threshing shall overtake for you the grape harvest, and the grape harvest shall overtake the sowing, and you shall eat the bread of you all to satiety, and you shall dwell in security in the land of you all.

And I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down with none to terrify; and I will remove harmful wild animals from the land, and the sword shall not pass through your land.

And you shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.

And five of you shall pursue a hundred, and a hundred of you shall pursue ten thousand, and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

And I will turn toward you and make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will establish my covenant with you.

And you shall eat old grain long stored, and the old you shall bring out because of the new.

And I will set my tabernacle among you, and my soul shall not abhor you.

And I will walk about in the midst of you all, and I will be God to you; and you shall be to me a people.

I am Yhwh, the God of you all, who brought you out of the land of Egypt so that you would not be their slaves; and I broke the bars of the yoke of you all and led you upright.

But if you do not listen to me, and do not do all these commandments,

And if you reject my statutes, and if your soul abhors my judgments so as not to do all my commandments — breaking my covenant.

Also, I will do this to you: and I will bring upon you terror, consumption and burning fever that waste the eyes and cause the soul to pine; and you shall sow the seed of you all in vain, and your enemies shall eat it.

And I will set my face against you, and you shall be struck down before the enemies of you all; and those who hate you all shall rule over you, and you shall flee with none pursuing you.

And if after all these you will not obey me, I will proceed to discipline you sevenfold on account of your sins.

And I will break the pride of your strength, and I will make your sky like iron and your land like bronze.

And your strength shall be spent in vain, and your land shall not give its produce, and the trees of the land shall not give their fruit.

And if you walk with me in hostility and are not willing to obey me, I will add a blow upon you sevenfold according to your sins.

And I will send among you the wild beasts of the field, and they shall bereave you and cut off the livestock of you all, and diminish you, and the roads of you all shall become desolate.

And if by these you are not disciplined by me, but walk with me in hostility,

And I also will walk with you in hostility, and I myself will strike you sevenfold on account of your sins.

And I will bring upon you a sword avenging the vengeance of the covenant; and you shall be gathered into your cities, and I will send pestilence among you, and you shall be delivered into the hand of an enemy.

When I break the staff of bread for you, ten women shall bake the bread of you all in one oven, and shall give back the bread of you all by weight; and you shall eat but not be satisfied.

And if in spite of this you will not listen to me, and walk with me in hostility.

And I will walk with you in the rage of hostility, and I too will chastise you seven times for your sins.

And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters you shall eat.

And I will destroy your high places and cut off your incense altars, and I will lay your corpses upon the corpses of your idols; and my soul will abhor you.

And I will make your cities a desolation and will lay waste your sanctuaries, and I will not smell your soothing aroma.

And I myself will devastate the land, and your enemies who dwell in it shall be appalled over it.

And you I will scatter among the nations, and I will draw the sword after you; and your land shall be a desolation, and your cities shall be ruins.

Then the land shall enjoy its sabbaths — all the days of its desolation, while you are in the land of your enemies — then the land shall rest and make up its sabbaths.

All the days of its desolation it shall rest — that which it did not rest in your sabbath years while you dwelt upon it.

And those who remain among you — I will bring fearfulness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a windblown leaf shall pursue them, and they shall flee as in flight from the sword, and they shall fall when none pursues.

And they shall stumble over one another as before a sword, though no one pursues; and you shall have no power to stand before the enemies of you all.

And you shall perish among the nations, and the land of your enemies shall devour you.

And those who remain among you shall rot away in their iniquity in the lands of the enemies of you all; and also in the iniquities of their ancestors they shall rot with them.

And they shall confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, in their trespass in which they were unfaithful against me, and also that they walked with me in hostility,

Even I will walk with them in hostility and will bring them into the land of their enemies — or perhaps then their uncircumcised heart shall be humbled, and then they shall accept their iniquity.

And I will remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham I will remember; and the land I will remember.

And the land shall be abandoned by them and shall enjoy its sabbaths in its desolation from them; and they shall accept their iniquity, because, yea because, they rejected my judgments and their soul abhorred my statutes.

And even with all this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I have not rejected them or abhorred them so as to destroy them, to annul my covenant with them; for I am Yhwh their God.

And I will remember for them the covenant of the former ones, whom I brought out from the land of Egypt in the eyes of the nations, to be God to them — I am the Lord.

These are the statutes and the judgments and the laws that the LORD gave between him and between the sons of Israel on Mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
