Leviticus 23

And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying:

Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them: The appointed times of the LORD that you shall proclaim as holy convocations — these are my appointed times.

Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of complete rest, a holy convocation; you shall not do any work — it is a Sabbath to the LORD in all your dwellings.

These are the appointed times of the LORD, sacred assemblies, which you shall proclaim at their appointed time.

In the first month, on the fourteenth of the month, at twilight, is the Passover of the LORD.

And on the fifteenth day of this month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the LORD; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread.

On the first day there shall be a sacred assembly for you; you shall do no laborious work.

And you shall present a food offering to the LORD for seven days. On the seventh day is a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work.

And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying:

Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them: When you come into the land that I am giving to you all and you reap its harvest, you shall bring the sheaf of the firstfruits of the harvest of you all to the priest.

And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD for your acceptance; on the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.

And on the day of your waving the sheaf you shall offer an unblemished lamb, one year old, as a burnt offering to the LORD.

And its grain offering shall be two tenths of fine flour mixed with oil, a food offering to the LORD, a soothing aroma; and its drink offering shall be wine, a fourth of a hin.

And bread and roasted grain and fresh ears of grain you shall not eat until this very day — until you bring the offering of God of you all. It is an everlasting statute throughout the generations of you all, in all the dwelling places of you all.

And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day of the bringing of you all the sheaf of the wave offering — seven Sabbaths; they shall be complete.

Until the day after the seventh Sabbath you shall count fifty days, and then you shall present a new grain offering to the LORD.

From the dwellings of you all you shall bring two loaves of wave bread: of two tenths of fine flour they shall be, baked with leaven — firstfruits to the LORD.

And you shall present with the bread seven unblemished lambs, one year old, and one bull from the herd, and two rams; they shall be a burnt offering to the LORD, along with their grain offering and their drink offerings — a fire offering, a soothing aroma to the LORD.

And you shall offer one male goat for a sin offering and two one-year-old lambs as a sacrifice of peace offerings.

And the priest shall wave them — the bread of the firstfruits — as a wave offering before the LORD, along with the two lambs; they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest.

And you shall proclaim on that very day — it shall be a holy convocation for you; you shall not do any laborious work; it is a perpetual statute in all the dwellings of you all, throughout the generations of you all.

And when you all reap the harvest of the land of you all, you shall not complete the edge of your field in your reaping, and the gleaning of your harvest you shall not glean; for the poor and for the sojourner you shall leave them. I am the LORD, God of you all.

And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying:

Speak to the sons of Israel, saying: In the seventh month, on the first of the month, it shall be for you a rest, a memorial of blasts, a holy convocation.

You shall do no laborious work, but you shall present a food offering to the LORD.

And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying:

Surely on the tenth of this seventh month is the Day of Atonements — it shall be a holy convocation for you all, and you shall afflict the souls of you all, and you shall present a food offering to the LORD.

And you shall not do any work on that very day, for it is a Day of Atonement, to make atonement for you before the LORD, God of you all.

For every person who shall not be afflicted on this very day shall be cut off from her peoples.

And any person who does any work on that very day — I will destroy that person from the midst of her people.

You shall not do any work — it is a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

It is a Sabbath of solemn rest for you all, and you shall afflict the souls of you all; on the ninth of the month, from evening to evening you shall keep the Sabbath of you all.

And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying:

Speak to the sons of Israel, saying: On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the Feast of Booths for seven days to the LORD.

On the first day is a sacred assembly; you shall do no laborious work.

For seven days you shall present a food offering to the LORD. On the eighth day a holy convocation shall be for you all, and you shall present a food offering to the LORD; it is a solemn assembly — you shall do no laborious work.

These are the appointed times of the LORD which you shall proclaim as holy convocations, to present a fire offering to the LORD — burnt offering and grain offering, sacrifice and drink offerings, each on its own day.

besides the Sabbaths of the LORD, and besides your gifts, and besides all your vows, and besides all your freewill offerings that you shall give to the LORD.

Surely on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the produce of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of the LORD for seven days; on the first day a solemn rest, and on the eighth day a solemn rest.

And you shall take for yourselves on the first day the fruit of majestic trees, fronds of date palms, and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before the LORD, God of you all, for seven days.

And you shall celebrate it as a feast to the LORD for seven days in the year — a perpetual statute throughout your generations; in the seventh month you shall celebrate it.

In booths you shall dwell seven days; every native-born in Israel shall dwell in booths.

So that the generations of you all may know that I made the sons of Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD, God of you all.

And Moses declared the appointed times of the LORD to the sons of Israel.
