Leviticus 20

¹And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying:

²And to the sons of Israel you shall say: Any man from the sons of Israel, or from the sojourner who sojourns in Israel, who gives any of his offspring to Molech, shall surely be put to death; the people of the land shall pelt him with stones.

³And I myself will set my face against that man, and I will cut him off from the midst of his people, for from his offspring he gave to Molech, in order to defile my sanctuary and to profane my holy name.

⁴And if the people of the land truly shut their eyes from that man, when he gives from his seed to Molech, so as not to put him to death—

⁵Then I myself will set my face against that man and against his clan, and I will cut him off, along with all who go whoring after him, going after Molech, from the midst of their people.

⁶And the person who turns to the mediums and to the spiritists, to go whoring after them — I will set my face against that person, and I will cut him off from the midst of his people.

⁷And consecrate yourselves and be holy, for I am the LORD, God of you all.

⁸And you shall keep my statutes and do them. I am the LORD, who sanctifies you all.

⁹For any man who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death; he has cursed his father and his mother — his blood guilt is upon him.

¹⁰And a man who commits adultery with the wife of a man, who commits adultery with the wife of his neighbor — the adulterer and the adulteress shall be put to death.

¹¹And a man who lies with the wife of his father has uncovered the nakedness of his father; they shall surely be put to death, both of them — their blood is on them.

¹²And if a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death; they have committed a perversion — their blood guilt is upon them.

¹³And a man who lies with a male as with a woman — both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death: their blood is upon them.

¹⁴And if a man takes a woman and her mother — it is lewdness; they shall burn him and them with fire, so that there will be no lewdness in the midst of you all.

¹⁵And a man who gives his copulation to an animal shall surely be put to death; and the animal you shall kill.

¹⁶And if a woman approaches any animal to mate with it, you shall kill the woman and the animal; they shall surely be put to death — their blood guilt is upon them.

¹⁷And a man who takes his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother, and sees the nakedness of her, and she sees the nakedness of him — it is a shame; and they shall be cut off in the sight of the sons of their people; the nakedness of his sister he has uncovered: he shall bear his iniquity.

¹⁸And a man who lies with a menstruating woman and has uncovered her nakedness, he has laid bare her fountain, and she has uncovered the fountain of her blood; both of them shall be cut off from the midst of their people.

¹⁹And the nakedness of your mother's sister and of your father's sister you shall not uncover, for he has laid bare the nakedness of his own flesh — they shall bear their iniquity.

²⁰And if a man lies with his aunt, he has uncovered the nakedness of his uncle; they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.

²¹And a man who takes the wife of his brother — it is impurity; the nakedness of his brother he has uncovered. They shall be childless.

²²And you shall keep all my statutes and all my regulations and do them; and the land shall not vomit you out, to which I am bringing you there to dwell in it.

²³And you shall not walk in the statutes of the nation which I am driving out from before you, for they did all these things, and I abhorred them.

²⁴And I said to you: You shall take possession of their land, and I myself will give it to you to possess — a land flowing with milk and honey. I am the LORD, God of you all, who have separated you from the peoples.

²⁵And you shall distinguish between the clean animal and the unclean, and between the unclean flying things and the clean; and you shall not make the souls of you all detestable by the animal or by the flying things or by anything that creeps on the ground, which I have set apart for you all as unclean.

²⁶And you shall be holy to me, for I, the LORD, am holy; and I have set you apart from the peoples to be mine.

²⁷And a man or a woman who has in them a medium or a spiritist shall surely be put to death; they shall pelt them with stones — their blood guilt is upon them.
