Leviticus 15

¹And the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

²Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them: Any man who has a discharge from his flesh — his discharge is unclean.

³And this shall be his uncleanness in his discharge: whether his body runs with his discharge or his body is blocked from his discharge, this is his uncleanness.

⁴Every bed on which the one with the discharge lies shall be unclean, and every article on which he sits shall be unclean.

⁵And anyone who touches his bed shall wash his garments and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening.

⁶And whoever sits on the article on which the one with the discharge sits shall wash his garments and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening.

⁷And whoever touches the body of the one with the discharge shall wash his garments and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening.

⁸And if the one with a discharge spits on a clean person, he shall wash his garments and bathe in water, and he shall be unclean until evening.

⁹And every saddle on which the one with the discharge rides shall be unclean.

¹⁰And whoever touches anything that was under him shall be unclean until the evening; and whoever carries those things shall wash his garments and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening.

¹¹And everyone whom the one with a discharge touches, without having rinsed his hands in water, shall wash his garments and bathe in water and be unclean until evening.

¹²And an earthenware vessel that the one with the discharge touches shall be broken, and every wooden article shall be rinsed with water.

¹³And when the one with the discharge is cleansed of his discharge, he shall count for himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his garments and bathe his body in fresh water, and he shall be clean.

¹⁴And on the eighth day he shall take for himself two turtledoves or two young pigeons and come before the LORD to the entrance of the tent of meeting and give them to the priest.

¹⁵And the priest shall offer them, one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, and the priest shall make atonement for him before the LORD from his discharge.

¹⁶And if a man has an emission of semen, he shall bathe his whole body in water and be unclean until the evening.

¹⁷And every garment and every skin on which there is semen shall be washed in water and be unclean until evening.

¹⁸And a woman with whom a man lies with an emission of semen — they shall both bathe in water and be unclean until the evening.

¹⁹And when a woman has a discharge, and her discharge in her body is blood, she shall be in her menstrual impurity for seven days, and everyone who touches her shall be unclean until the evening.

²⁰And everything on which she lies during her impurity shall be unclean, and everything on which she sits shall be unclean.

²¹And everyone who touches her bed shall wash his garments and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening.

²²And whoever touches any vessel on which she sits shall wash his garments and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening.

²³And if it is on the bed or on the article on which she is sitting, when he touches it, he shall be unclean until the evening.

²⁴And if a man actually lies with her and her menstrual impurity comes upon him, he shall be unclean for seven days, and every bed on which he lies shall be unclean.

²⁵And if a woman has a flow of blood for many days not during her menstrual period, or if her blood flows beyond her menstrual period, all the days of the flow of her impurity she shall be unclean as in the days of her menstrual impurity.

²⁶Every bed on which she lies throughout all the days of her discharge shall be to her like the bed of her menstrual impurity, and every article on which she sits shall be unclean, like the uncleanness of her menstrual impurity.

²⁷And everyone who touches them shall be unclean and shall wash his garments and bathe in water and be unclean until evening.

²⁸But if she is cleansed from her discharge, she shall count for herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean.

²⁹And on the eighth day she shall take for herself two turtledoves or two young pigeons, and bring them to the priest, to the entrance of the tent of meeting.

³⁰And the priest shall offer the one as a sin offering and the one as a burnt offering, and the priest shall make atonement for her before the LORD from her unclean discharge.

³¹Thus you shall keep the sons of Israel separate from their impurity, lest they die in their impurity by defiling my tabernacle that is in their midst.

³²This is the instruction for the one with the discharge, and for him from whom a seminal emission goes out so that he becomes unclean by it,

³³and the one who is ill in her menstrual impurity, and the one with a discharge for male and female, and for the man who lies with an unclean woman.
