Leviticus 14

And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

This shall be the instruction of the one afflicted with skin-disease on the day of his purification: and he shall be brought to the priest.

And the priest shall go out to outside the camp, and the priest shall examine; and behold, the affliction of tzaraat has been healed from the one afflicted with tzaraat.

And the priest shall command, and there shall be taken for the one cleansing himself two living clean birds, and cedar wood, and crimson thread, and hyssop.

And the priest shall command, and he shall slaughter one of the birds into an earthen vessel over living water.

He shall take the live bird, along with the cedar wood, the scarlet thread, and the hyssop, and dip them and the live bird in the blood of the slaughtered bird over the running water.

And he shall sprinkle upon the one being cleansed from the sara'at seven times, and shall declare him pure; and he shall release the live bird over the open field.

And the one being cleansed shall wash his garments, and shave off all his hair, and bathe in water, and he shall be pure; and after that he may come into the camp, and shall remain outside his tent seven days.

And it shall be on the seventh day that he shall shave all his hair — his head, his beard, and his eyebrows — he shall shave all his hair; and he shall wash his garments, and bathe his body in water, and he shall be pure.

And on the eighth day he shall take two unblemished lambs, and one unblemished ewe-lamb in its first year, and three-tenths of fine flour as a grain offering mixed with oil, and one log of oil.

And the priest who pronounces clean shall present the man who is cleansing himself, and them, before the LORD at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

And the priest shall take the one lamb and shall present it as a guilt offering, and the log of oil, and shall wave them as a wave offering before the LORD.

And he shall slaughter the lamb in the place where the sin offering and the burnt offering are slaughtered, in the holy place; for like the sin offering, so is the guilt offering to the priest -- it is most holy.

And the priest shall take from the blood of the guilt offering and the priest shall put on the lobe of the right ear of the one being purified, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.

And the priest shall take from the log of oil and pour it on the palm of the priest's left hand.

And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is upon his left palm, and sprinkle from the oil with his finger seven times before the LORD.

And the remainder of the oil that is on his palm the priest shall put on the lobe of the right ear of the one being cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the guilt offering.

And the remainder of the oil that is upon the palm of the priest he shall put upon the head of the one being purified, and the priest shall make atonement for him before the LORD.

And the priest shall offer the sin offering and make atonement for the one being purified from his uncleanness, and afterward he shall slaughter the burnt offering.

And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the grain offering on the altar, and the priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be clean.

But if he is poor and his hand does not reach, he shall take one lamb as a guilt offering for a wave offering, to make atonement for him, and one-tenth of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, and a log of oil.

and two turtledoves or two young pigeons, such as his hand can afford; and one shall be a sin offering and the other a burnt offering.

And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his purification to the priest, to the entrance of the tent of meeting, before the LORD.

And the priest shall take the lamb of the guilt offering and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them as a wave offering before the LORD.

And he shall slaughter the lamb of the guilt offering, and the priest shall take from the blood of the guilt offering and put it on the lobe of the right ear of the one being purified, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.

And from the oil the priest shall pour upon the palm of the priest's left hand.

And the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is on his left palm seven times before the LORD.

And the priest shall put some of the oil that is upon his palm on the lobe of the right ear of the one being purified, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the guilt offering.

And what remains from the oil that is upon the palm of the priest, he shall put upon the head of the one being purified, to make atonement for him before the LORD.

And he shall offer one of the turtledoves or one of the young pigeons, such as his hand can afford,

such as his hand can afford, the one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering along with the grain offering; and the priest shall make atonement for the one being cleansed before the LORD.

This is the instruction for one in whom there is a mark of skin disease, whose hand does not reach for his purification.

And the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

When you come into the land of Canaan, which I am giving to you as a possession, and I put a diseased infection in a house in the land — a possession of you all —

And the one who owns the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, 'Something like a mark has appeared to me in the house.'

And the priest shall command, and they shall clear the house before the priest comes to see the affliction, lest all that is in the house become unclean; and after that the priest shall come to see the house.

And he shall examine the infection, and if the infection is in the walls of the house with hollow spots, greenish or reddish, and their appearance is lower than the wall,

And the priest shall go out of the house to the entrance of the house, and shall shut up the house for seven days.

And the priest shall return on the seventh day and inspect, and behold, the affliction has spread on the walls of the house,

Then the priest shall command that they pull out the stones in which the infection is and throw them outside the city to an unclean place.

And he shall scrape the house inside all around, and they shall pour out the dust that they scraped outside the city, in an unclean place.

And they shall take other stones and bring them in place of the stones, and he shall take other plaster and plaster the house.

But if the infection returns and breaks out in the house after he has pulled out the stones, and after scraping the house, and after it has been replastered,

And the priest shall come and look, and behold, the mark has spread in the house; it is a malignant skin disease in the house — it is unclean.

And he shall tear down the house, its stones and its timber and all the plaster of the house, and carry them outside the city to an unclean place.

And whoever enters the house during all the days it is shut in shall be unclean until evening.

And whoever lies down in the house shall wash his garments, and whoever eats in the house shall wash his garments.

But if the priest comes and looks, and behold, the mark has not spread in the house after the house was plastered, the priest shall pronounce the house clean, for the mark is healed.

And he shall take, to purify the house, two birds, cedar wood, scarlet yarn, and hyssop.

And he shall slaughter one of the birds over an earthen vessel with fresh water.

And he shall take the cedar wood and the hyssop and the scarlet yarn and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slaughtered bird and in the living water, and sprinkle the house seven times.

And he shall purify the house with the blood of the bird and with the fresh water and with the live bird and with the cedar wood and with the hyssop and with the scarlet yarn.

And he shall release the living bird outside the city into the open field, and make atonement for the house, and it shall be clean.

This is the instruction for every mark of skin disease and for the scall,

and for leprous disease of the garment and for the house,

and for a swelling and for a scab and for a bright spot —

to teach on the day of the unclean and on the day of the clean — this is the instruction of skin disease.
