Exodus 35

And Moses assembled all the congregation of the sons of Israel and said to them: These are the words which the LORD has commanded you to do.

Six days work shall be done, but on the seventh day there shall be for you all a holiness, a sabbath of complete rest to the LORD; anyone who does work on it shall be put to death.

You shall not kindle fire in any of your dwellings on the day of the Sabbath.

And Moses said to all the congregation of the people of Israel, 'This is the thing that the LORD has commanded, saying,'

Take from among you a contribution to the LORD; everyone whose heart is willing shall bring it as the LORD's contribution: gold, silver, and bronze;

and blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine linen and goats' hair;

and rams' skins dyed red, and sea-cow skins, and acacia wood;

and oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil and for the incense of spices;

and onyx stones and stones for setting, for the ephod and for the breastpiece.

And let every skilled craftsman among you all come and make all that the LORD has commanded.

the tabernacle, its tent and its covering, its clasps and its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets;

the ark and its poles, the mercy seat, and the veil of the screen;

the table and its poles and all its utensils, and the bread of the Presence;

and the lampstand for the light, and its utensils, and its lamps, and the oil for the light;

and the altar of incense and its poles, and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense, and the screen for the entrance, the entrance of the tabernacle;

the altar of burnt offering with its bronze grating, its poles and all its utensils, the basin and its stand;

the hangings of the court, its pillars and their sockets, and the screen for the gate of the court;

the pegs of the tabernacle and the pegs of the court, and their cords;

the woven service garments for ministering in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons for serving as priests.

And all the congregation of the sons of Israel departed from before Moses.

And they came, everyone whose heart lifted him and everyone whose spirit moved him willingly, and they brought the contribution of the LORD for the work of the tent of meeting and for all its service and for the holy garments.

And they came, both men and women, all whose hearts were willing; they brought brooches and earrings and signet rings and armlets, all kinds of gold objects, every man who made a wave offering of gold to the LORD.

And everyone who had blue or purple or scarlet yarns or fine linen or goats' hair or rams' skins dyed red or sea-cow skins brought them.

Everyone who brought a contribution of silver or bronze brought it as the LORD's contribution; and everyone who had acacia wood of any use in the service brought it.

And every woman who was wise of heart spun with her hands, and they brought what they had spun in blue and purple and scarlet yarns and in fine linen.

And all the women whose hearts were moved by wisdom spun the goats' hair.

And the leaders brought the onyx stones and the stones for setting for the ephod and for the breastpiece.

and the spice and the oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the fragrant incense.

All the men and women, everyone whose heart moved them willingly to bring anything for all the work that the LORD had commanded to be done through Moses — the children of Israel brought it as a freewill offering to the LORD.

And Moses said to the people of Israel, 'See, the LORD has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;'

and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, and with knowledge and with all craftsmanship,

to devise skilled designs, to work in gold and silver and bronze,

and in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, to work in every skilled craft.

And he has put in his heart the ability to teach, both he and Oholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.

He filled them with wisdom of heart to do all the work of the artificer and the designer and the embroiderer in blue and in purple, in crimson of the worm and in fine linen, and the weaver — doers of all work and designers of designs.
