Exodus 26

And the tabernacle you shall make of ten curtains of fine twisted linen, and blue, and purple, and crimson thread, with cherubim of artistic design you shall make them.

The length of the one curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits, and the width four cubits — the one curtain; one measure for all the curtains.

Five curtains shall be joined one to another, and the other five curtains shall be joined one to another.

And you shall make loops of blue on the edge of the one curtain from the end in the first set, and likewise you shall do on the edge of the outermost curtain in the second set.

Fifty loops you shall make on the one curtain, and fifty loops you shall make on the edge of the curtain that is in the second set, the loops corresponding to one another.

You shall make fifty clasps of gold, and couple the curtains one to another with the clasps, so that the tabernacle will be one unit.

And you shall make curtains of goats' hair for a tent over the tabernacle; eleven curtains you shall make them.

The length of each curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the width of each curtain four cubits — all eleven curtains shall have the same measure.

And you shall join the five curtains by themselves, and the six curtains by themselves, and you shall double over the sixth curtain at the front of the tent.

And you shall make fifty loops on the edge of the one outermost curtain in the first set, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain of the second set.

You shall make fifty clasps of bronze, and put the clasps into the loops, and couple the tent together, so that it will be one unit.

And the surplus that remains in the curtains of the tent — the half of the curtain that remains shall hang over the back of the tabernacle.

With the cubit on one side and the cubit on the other side in what remains of the length of the tent curtains, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it.

And you shall make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering of fine leather hides over that.

And you shall make the frames for the tabernacle of acacia wood, standing upright.

Ten cubits shall be the length of each board, and a cubit and a half the width of each board.

Two tenons to each frame, fitted one to another; so you shall make for all the frames of the tabernacle.

And you shall make twenty frames for the tabernacle for the south side.

And you shall make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards, two sockets under each board for its two tenons, and two sockets under the next board for its two tenons.

And for the second side of the tabernacle, for the northward facing, twenty frames.

and their forty sockets of silver — two sockets under the one frame, and two sockets under the other frame.

And for the rear of the tabernacle, toward the west, you shall make six boards.

And two frames you shall make for the corners of the tabernacle at the rear.

And they shall be doubled at the bottom and together they shall be complete at the top, to the one ring — so shall it be for both of them; they shall be for the two corners.

There shall be eight boards with their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets, two sockets under each board and two sockets under the next board.

And you shall make bars of acacia wood, five for the frames of the one side of the tabernacle,

and five bars for the frames of the second side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the frames of the rear side of the tabernacle toward the west.

And the middle bar shall run through the middle of the boards from end to end.

And the frames you shall overlay with gold, and their rings you shall make of gold as housings for the bars, and you shall overlay the bars with gold.

And you shall set up the tabernacle according to its prescribed plan that you were shown on the mountain.

You shall make a veil of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twisted linen; it shall be made with a design of cherubim, the work of a skilled craftsman.

And you shall hang it on four pillars of acacia overlaid with gold, with hooks of gold, upon four sockets of silver.

And you shall put the veil under the clasps, and you shall bring inside the veil the ark of the testimony, and the veil shall make a separation for you all between the holy place and the holy of holies.

And you shall set the mercy seat on the ark of the testimony in the Most Holy Place.

And you shall set the table outside the veil, and the lampstand opposite the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south, and the table you shall place on the side toward the north.

And you shall make a screen for the entrance of the tent of blue and purple and scarlet yarn and fine twisted linen, the work of an embroiderer.

You shall make for the screen five pillars of acacia and overlay them with gold; their hooks shall be of gold, and you shall cast five sockets of bronze for them.
