Exodus 25

And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying:

Speak to the sons of Israel, that they may take for me a contribution; from every man whose heart moves him willingly you shall take my contribution.

And this is the contribution that you shall receive from them: gold, and silver, and bronze.

and blue, and purple, and crimson thread, and fine linen, and goats' hair;

and rams' skins dyed red, and tachash skins, and acacia wood;

oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense,

onyx stones and stones for setting, for the ephod and for the breastpiece.

And they shall make me a sanctuary, and I will dwell in their midst.

According to all that I am showing you — the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings — so you shall make it.

And they shall make an ark of acacia wood: two and a half cubits its length, and a cubit and a half its width, and a cubit and a half its height.

And you shall overlay it with pure gold; from within and from without you shall overlay it, and you shall make on it a molding of gold all around.

You shall cast four rings of gold for it and attach them to its four feet, with two rings on one side of it and two rings on the other side of it.

And you shall make poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.

And you shall insert the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, to carry the ark by them.

In the rings of the ark shall be the poles; they shall not be removed from it.

And you shall place in the ark the testimony that I will give you.

You shall make a mercy seat of pure gold; two cubits and a half shall be its length, and a cubit and a half its width.

And you shall make two cherubim of gold; of hammered work you shall make them, from the two ends of the mercy seat.

Make one cherub from this end, and one cherub from that end; from the mercy seat you shall make the cherubim at its two ends.

The cherubim shall be spreading their wings upward, overshadowing the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces one toward another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubim be.

And you shall put the mercy seat on the ark from above, and into the ark you shall put the testimony that I will give to you.

And I will meet with you there, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim that are upon the ark of the testimony, all that I command you regarding the children of Israel.

You shall also make a table of acacia wood; two cubits shall be its length, one cubit its width, and a cubit and a half its height.

And you shall overlay it with pure gold, and you shall make for it a molding of gold all around.

You shall make a border of a handbreadth around it, and you shall make a gold molding for its border all around.

And you shall make for it four rings of gold, and place the rings on the four corners that are at its four feet.

Opposite the frame shall be the rings, as holders for the poles to carry the table.

You shall make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold, so that the table may be carried by them.

And you shall make its dishes and its cups and its flagons and its bowls for pouring out offerings; of pure gold you shall make them.

And you shall set on the table the bread of the Presence before me continually.

You shall make a lampstand of pure gold; the lampstand shall be made of hammered work — its base and its shaft, its cups, its calyxes, and its flowers shall be of one piece with it.

And six branches shall come out from its sides: three branches of the lampstand from its one side, and three branches of the lampstand from its second side.

Three cups shaped like almond blossoms on the one branch, with a knob and a flower, and three cups shaped like almond blossoms on the other branch, with a knob and a flower — so for the six branches going out from the lampstand.

And on the lampstand there shall be four cups shaped like almond blossoms, with their calyxes and their flowers.

and a knob under two branches from it, and a knob under two branches from it, and a knob under two branches from it — for the six branches coming out from the lampstand.

Their knobs and their branches shall be from it — all of it one piece of hammered work of pure gold.

You shall make its lamps, seven of them, and they shall set up its lamps so as to give light on the space in front of it.

And its snuffers and its fire-pans shall be of pure gold.

A talent of pure gold shall be used for it, with all these utensils.

And see to it that you make them according to the pattern for them, which you are being shown on the mountain.
