1 Corinthians 16

¹Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I directed the churches of Galatia, so also you yourselves do.

²On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside for himself, storing it up as he may prosper, so that no collections will be taking place when I come.

³And when I arrive, whomever you approve, I will send them with letters to carry your gift to Jerusalem.

⁴And if it is fitting for me to go also, they will go with me.

⁵Now I will come to you when I have passed through Macedonia, for I am going through Macedonia,

⁶and with you I will perhaps stay or even winter, so that you may send me on my way wherever I may go.

⁷For I do not want to see you now in passing; for I hope to remain with you for some time, if the Lord permits.

⁸But I will remain in Ephesus until Pentecost,

⁹for a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.

¹⁰Now if Timothy comes, see to it that he is with you without fear; for he is doing the work of the Lord, just as I also am.

¹¹Let no one therefore despise him. But send him on his way in peace, so that he may come to me; for I am expecting him with the brothers.

¹²Now concerning Apollos the brother, I urged him greatly to come to you with the brothers; and it was not at all his will to come now, but he will come when he has opportunity.

¹³Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, be strong.

¹⁴Let all your things be done in love.

¹⁵Now I exhort you, brothers: you know the household of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruit of Achaia and that they have devoted themselves to the service of the saints.

¹⁶that you also submit yourselves to such as these and to every fellow worker and laborer.

¹⁷And I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus, because they have supplied my lack of you.

¹⁸For they refreshed my spirit and yours. Acknowledge therefore such people.

¹⁹The churches of Asia greet you. Aquila and Prisca greet you heartily in the Lord, along with the church in their house.

²⁰All the brothers greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss.

²¹The greeting is in my own hand, Paul.

²²If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. Marana tha!

²³The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

²⁴My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.
