1 Chronicles 8

¹And Benjamin fathered Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third.

²Nohah the fourth, and Raphah the fifth.

³And the sons of Bela were Addar, Gera, and Abihud.

⁴and Abishua, Naaman, and Ahoah.

⁵Gera, Shephuphan, and Huram.

⁶And these are the sons of Ehud; these were the heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Geba, and they exiled them to Manahath.

⁷Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera — he exiled them — and he fathered Uzzah and Ahihud.

⁸And Shaharaim fathered in the fields of Moab, after he had sent away Hushim and Baara his wives.

⁹And he fathered by Hodesh his wife: Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, and Malcam.

¹⁰Jeuz, Sachia, and Mirmah — these were his sons, heads of the fathers.

¹¹And from Hushim he fathered Abitub and Elpaal.

¹²And the sons of Elpaal: Eber, Misham, and Shemed, who built Ono and Lod with its daughter-towns.

¹³And Beriah and Shema — they were the heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Aijalon; they drove out the inhabitants of Gath.

¹⁴Ahio, Shashak, and Jerimoth.

¹⁵Zebadiah, Arad, Eder.

¹⁶Michael, Ishpah, and Joha, sons of Beriah.

¹⁷Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber.

¹⁸Ishmerai, Izliah, and Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.

¹⁹Jakim, Zichri, and Zabdi.

²⁰Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel.

²¹Adaiah, Beraiah, Shimrath, sons of Shimei.

²²Ishpan, Eber, and Eliel.

²³Abdon, Zichri, and Hanan.

²⁴Hananiah, Elam, and Anthothijah.

²⁵Iphdeiah, Peniel, and Penuel, sons of Shashak.

²⁶Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah.

²⁷Jaareshiah, Elijah, and Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.

²⁸These were heads of ancestral houses by their genealogies, chiefs; these dwelt in Jerusalem.

²⁹In Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon, and the name of his wife was Maacah.

³⁰His firstborn son was Abdon, Zur, Kish, Baal, and Nadab.

³¹Gedor, Ahio, Zecher.

³²Mikloth fathered Shimeah. They also dwelt opposite their brothers in Jerusalem, alongside their brothers.

³³Ner fathered Kish, and Kish fathered Saul, and Saul fathered Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Eshbaal.

³⁴The son of Jonathan was Meribbaal; and Meribbaal begot Micah.

³⁵The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tarea, and Ahaz.

³⁶Ahaz fathered Jehoaddah, and Jehoaddah fathered Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri, and Zimri fathered Moza.

³⁷Moza begot Binea; Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.

³⁸Azel had six sons, and these were their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan; all these were the sons of Azel.

³⁹The sons of Eshek his brother: Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

⁴⁰And the sons of Ulam were men, warriors of valor, drawers of the bow, multiplying sons and grandsons, a hundred and fifty; all these were of the sons of Benjamin.
